The Akran Foundation is a community-based, non-profit organization and registered Canadian charity under the Community Foundation of Ottawa that funds, collects and distributes donations to charitable organizations that work towards positive social change. While our mandate is helping children, including children’s education and health, Akran is a broad-minded Foundation with a big heart that helps numerous charities, frontline workers and people in need. Our focuses is on the environment, education, and community. We have a rich history of giving financial, product, and service support to numerous charitable groups. As the philanthropic arm of Akran Marketing, the Akran Foundation provides support to recipients through charitable grants and the donation of products and services.
Through the Akran Foundation, Akran Marketing provides a positive social contribution by committing significant resources to a wide variety of non-profit groups. The Foundation pools its knowledge, innovation, resources and financial and intellectual capital to improve the lives of people in the communities in which the Akran Marketing corporation operates. We help communities across Canada and internationally through our community investment mandate by making strategic donations, forging strong community partnerships, fostering innovation and engaging stakeholders.
